September 4, 2025 (Brockville, ON) – The Champions for Kids (C4K) Foundation is proud to announce that the 4th Annual Tammy Neddo Memorial Mixed Triples Darts Tournament has raised $3,290 in support of children and youth across the Upper Canada District School Board region.
The event, held on August 30 at the Brockville Legion, was organized by Ron Neddo in honour of his late sister, Tammy. The tournament brought together players and community members for a day of competition, camaraderie, and giving back. Funds were raised through team fees, shirt sales, and a silent auction.
Ron shared that he chose C4K as the beneficiary because of the foundation’s close connection to both him and his sister. “C4K is near to our hearts,” he said. “Supporting children and families in our communities is something Tammy cared deeply about, and this tournament is a way to carry on that spirit of giving. I also appreciate that C4K supports students who are interested in Youth Darts, helping to grow the next generation of players.”
C4K Chair Laura Oliver expressed gratitude for the contribution. “We are so thankful to Ron, the participants, and the Brockville community for rallying behind this event. Their efforts help ensure that students in need have access to opportunities that allow them to thrive, whether in academics, sports, arts, or other activities.”
C4K would also like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the many sponsors and donors who made the tournament possible, including local restaurants (Swiss Chalet, Tincap Restaurant, Kelsey’s, Gabriel’s, Luna, Wing House, Fat Les on King, Kara’s Burgers and Fries, Stacked Pancake House, Renegedz, Flour Cloud Bakery, Our Lil Secret, Nick’s, 1000 Islands Restaurant, Barley Mow, Tata’s Pizza, Starbucks, 1000 Islands Meat Shop), attractions and experiences (Inked by Kaur, The Tattoo Machine Ottawa, Improbable Escapes, Yuk Yuks Ottawa, Capitol Axe Throwing, Upper Canada Village, Cosmic Adventures, The Bunker Kingston, Science and Technology Museum, Fun Zone Kingston, Diefenbunker Museum), golf clubs (Tincap, Sunnidell, Brockville Country Club, Prescott, Cedar Valley), local businesses (Sebxet Collectibles, H&T Comics and Collectibles, Sequence Gaming, Ottawa Dart Mart, Porter’s Designs and Apparel, The Artistry Collective Kingston, The Brick, Brockville Home Hardware, Home Health Care, Sessions Brockville, Brianna Schroder Photography, Brockville Ford, Brockville Hyundai, Serenity Wellness and Tanning, Tincap Berry Farm, Canarm Brockville, Blanket Aunt Penny, Goligers Travel, Phil Taylor Painting and Book, Judy’s Tumblers), and community supporters (Jake McMullen, Tom Smith, Rob Donnelly, Angela Chartrand, Lori Mullin).
