Prescott Tim Hortons Supports UCDSB Champions for Kids Foundation through Smile Cookie Campaign
For the third year in a row the Prescott Tim Hortons has selected C4K as its recipient of funds raised through the Smile Cookie Campaign.
This year, the annual campaign ran from September 12-18 in participating restaurants across Canada.
During the campaign, Prescott and area residents purchased freshly baked chocolate chunk Smile Cookie sfor $1 (plus applicable taxes) from the Prescott Tim Hortons, and the full $1 was donated to C4K.
“We are thrilled to once again partner with Tim Hortons in Prescott and the Lockett family (store owners),” says Carole Dufort, C4K president. “The Locketts, along with the customers who purchased a Smile Cookie, are supporting children in their very own communities. We are so grateful for their contributions and generosity.”
The Smile Cookie campaign began in 1996 as a way to help raise funds for the Hamilton Children’s Hospital in Ontario, and has grown to become a major fundraising event at Tim Hortons Restaurants.
In 2015, the Prescott Tim Hortons donated $3,100 to the foundation.
